I was actually "working" (aka bribing myself to study for finals. "ok, I can work more on it after I finish the next 3 problems.") on the tourist trap meme, but this came along and is a lot easier to finish.
I tend not to gender-bend my own characters, 'cause their genders usually play a big part in their characters and I just don't think about it, but his name is JOYCE.

...I am regretting not designing a female trainer, because I like drawing girls more, but Joyce was there and he already had a back-story... hngh.
Genderbending pokemon is still weird for me. Unless, I guess, you give them accessories?
