Yeah, this entire shpiel was about Ms Bard acquiring her second blade. I was initially going to give this role to the rogue of the party, but I think this way lays out the environment of the world they're in a bit better.

Lol, it's always a Pete. It's like naming your kid some version of "Red Shirt", but it's never fatal, just blinding. Maybe some god or goddess just really doesn't like the name Pete.... XD
