IofM: Jaydon

I need to practice drawing the hair better. This isn't so much a new character as a character whose design I put on the back-burner.
He gave me SO much trouble, because initially I decided he was going to be a guy, then in some situations he manifested as female. So I was like, ok, so let's make him a tomboy. But that didn't work. It wasn't his personality that changed from female to male, but his physical appearance and the societal implications for each situation that made an impact on me. But I was REALLY reluctant to make a character that can change into both genders (this was more of a joke character). I don't like the concept, but bit the bullet and so here's Jaydon Cox.
Jaydon is a Salmacisine. This is a completely made up species, based on the naiad that fused herself with Hermaphroditus. So Salmacisines not only can change gender, but also have the ephemeral physical qualities of naiads.
I thought Taylor was a better name, but his strange mother won out, and his name is Jaydon. It was kinda like back when hippie names and "innovative" names were popular. For Salmacisines, androgynous names that can be altered to distinguish each gender was the fad around when Jaydon was born. So, Jade when female and Jaydon when male. Jaydon thinks it's a stupid idea and that Jade sounds like a stripper name, so he goes by Jaydon in both forms.

Well, though I don't like the concept, I'm satisfied because I think both his forms are hot.

btw, Salmacisines are extremely rare.
